Baler Infeed Conveyors

Baler infeed conveyors are custom designed to meet customer requirements easily and economically.

Baler infeed conveyors are built against the baler specifications:

  • Constant or adjustable speed control.
  • Soft start controls for intermittent operation.
  • Mechanical backstops are installed to prevent belt rollback under load.
  • Electrical and mechanical overload protection.
  • Rugged closed and open frame construction.

Stamping Scrap Conveyors

Over 75% of the major stamping plants in the United States have Mayfran conveyors installed above and below the floor to transport scrap from presses to central collection areas. Outside the plant they use several different types of discharge systems designed and engineered by Mayfran International. These systems feed balers, trucks and rolloff boxes. Most are completely automated providing hands-free load leveling and container selection applications.

Chip Tote Conveyors

Chip conveyors allow you to extend the period between tank cleanouts from daily (when using chip trays) to as long as quarterly, reducing maintenance costs and machine downtime.

Chip-Tote® chip conveyors are recognized for reliable and efficient handling of chips from machine tools. Using a hinged steel belt conveyor, Chip-Tote chip conveyors easily handle hot chips, wet or dry chips, borings, tunings and other scrap material. With a range of belt pitches available, these basic chip conveyors fit just about any machine tool application.

Drag Conveyors

Drag conveyors (also called scraper conveyors) are well suited for applications with dry cast iron or wet cast iron or aluminum applications generating fine chips where coolant cleanliness is not critical. Custom-designed to fit the application, they can be extended
