Stationary Compactors
Stationary Compactors

Stationary compactors provide significant waste removal savings. Models can be configured with a number of options to ensure feed efficiency for walk-on and security chute applications. We incorporate user friendly controls. Heavy duty units are built with structural reinforcements, quality components and are fully tested to provide years of trouble-free service.
2, 3 & 4 Yard Compactors
2 Yard compactors are designed for moderate duty service. They are perfect for retail stores, light industrial plants, grocery stores, hospitals, recyclers and many more similar applications. The 4-yard compactor is designed for heavy commercial, industrial and mini-transfer stations and is engineered to handle above average quantities of refuse when a transfer station is not applicable.
Self-Contained

Self contained compactors offer an excellent solution to wet waste and space issues. Options like self draining floors and drain valves give you the ability to modify your equipment to realize lower overall operating costs. Our self contained compactors (1 yd and 2 yd packing chamber size) with containers available in ranges of 10 yd to 38 yds total. The compactors’ liquid tight containment provides a clean method to handle most any type of trash and is perfect anywhere liquid is part of the waste being disposed. Hydraulic tailgate models are also available for chute, dock, or other similar installations to eliminate the need for hauler turn.
Augers
The Auger Is the Answer:
The Auger inherently pre-crushes and can compact a broad range of materials, such as cardboard, plastic, pallets or construction garbage you are looking to recycle or compact. The result is that our industrial trash compactors can process a larger variety and a higher volume of cardboard, plastic, pallets, all kinds of refuse or other construction garbage than any other type of trash compactor on the market today.

Advantages of Auger Compactor over Hydraulic Ram Compactors
Better Compaction – Compaction ratios are used to compare and sell compactors, but buyers must beware that compaction ratio’s are not a perfect science and can fluctuate dramatically. Dense material (lumber, telephone books, etc.) will not compact very well compared to shredded paper or cardboard, therefore it will have a low compaction ratio regardless of the type of compactor in use. It is a combination of the machine and material that determine the compaction ratio. Sani-Tech augers pre-crush the material, changing it’s size and shape (which ram compactors don’t do) prior to it entering the bin. This design will always achieve a higher compaction ratio than a ram compactor!
All Electric Drive – Sani-Tech’s Auger Compactor is all electric, eliminating hydraulic oils, contamination, environmental concerns, filters, reservoirs, line breaks, leaks and maintenance. It is powerful, quiet and will run the same regardless of the ambient temperature.
Faster – Sani-Tech’s auger is always moving forward, eliminating the need to consider cycle times and charge box capacity.
Sanitary – Auger compactors and attached bins (self-contained and stationary models available) are 100% sealed. No scavengers or people can get into the hopper or container because of the auger and nozzle that penetrates the container. Upon separation for stationary models, very little material falls out of the container by virtue of the elevated round opening of the auger nozzle. Compared to the large rectangular opening of the ram compactors, spillage is minimal.
Efficient Operation – Material can be fed into the auger much faster than a ram system since there is no cycle time. Labor is reduced (on manual feed systems) since the person does not need to wait for the compactor to cycle and re-fill the charge box. Sani-Tech Augers are smaller since there is no ram pistoning back and forth.
Full Container – Ram compactors do little to change the size and shape of material prior to bin insertion. This can result in the top portion of a container remaining empty and the material being packed so tight that workers must climb into the container or use pre-laid cables used to pull material out. Since the Sani-Tech Auger pre-crushes and blends the material together during processing, our bins are consistently full and always empty without human intervention.
Less Maintenance – The only routine maintenance on the auger compactor is main bearing lubrication. By using the Automatic Lubricator, even this requirement is minimized.
Increased Safety – Ram-compactors often jam from material “bouncing back” into the charge box. This material gets wedged underneath and behind the ram, requiring a person to climb into the charge box or dismantle the ram container to remove the material.
